Deeper Than the Reef: My Wreck Dive Adventure with Amadive.|Diving a Sunken Ship in Vietnam: My Wreck Dive with Amadive Con Dao.|The Ghost Ship of Con Dao: Wreck Diving with Amadive.

When I booked my scuba diving trip to Con Dao, Vietnam, I was picturing vibrant coral reefs. And don't get me wrong, they were amazing. But then I discovered something on the Amadive dive list: **Diving a Sunken Wreck**. My heart leaped. This wasn't just a standard reef dive; this was an adventure into history.

Honestly, I felt nervous. Wreck diving requires extra care. But the crew at **Amadive** was incredible. Their Divemasters gave us a very thorough safety briefing. We covered our safety procedures, the story of the sunken ship, and what to expect down there. The fact we were in such a small group instantly made me feel safe.

Descending was surreal. At first, it was just a shadow in the distance, then suddenly it appeared. It is enormous. The ship is now a bustling new home, draped in soft corals and swarming with marine life. We saw big groupers hiding from the cargo hold, and schools of fusiliers hiding in the cracks. The feeling of swimming alongside this giant, silent vessel was hard to describe—haunting, awe-inspiring, and humbling all at once. It's a time capsule on the seabed.

For any an Open Water diver (or higher) coming to Con Dao and seeking an adventure beyond the usual reef dive, I here urge you this **Con Dao wreck dive** highly enough. It was the absolute highlight of my diving trip. A huge thank you to the **Amadive Con Dao** team for their professionalism and for making this unforgettable adventure possible and safe.
